I get asked a lot how to get rid of the “mum tum”
Firstly - let’s normalise having a bit of a tummy especially if you’ve birthed children or are hitting age 40.
Good news is there are things you can do to help reduce it, make it look and feel leaner.
- FOOD - this is the key - in order to get rid of any fat, we need to clean up our diet and (you know k don’t like counting calories) we need to be in a deficit. How do you do this without counting. PFF!! Food that fuels - means you can move more, keeps you fuller longer means less snacking, less hunger = less calories naturally consumed.
- More movement - DAILY - increasing movement daily is far better than any added gym session and this is where you need to make daily tweaks to burn more calories (keep watching as I’m launching a movement challenge next week)
- Toning exercises to strengthen core. These need to be done regularly otherwise you will get nothing. Usually people do ab exercises once a month then nothing for two months…
Grab my simple ab workout here- it’ll give you a good “burn” you can do with or without bands.
