Hi, I'm Ed; my brand is Deskside Mentor

I'll provide the short story behind the creation of Deskside Mentor.

1) After being laid off, I did some soul searching on what I enjoyed most about my leadership roles over the last 20+ years. It a nutshell, it was being a career coach to my teams and others.

2) I feel people are getting lost in today's world. We've lost some of the humanity. I wanted to create an experience for people that they had someone walking beside them on their career journey.

My starting niche is helping people create an actionable career strategy to guide their decisions instead of going with the flow. I think far too many people have a 'go with the flow' approach to their career.

I have a scale and expand strategy roughed out on how I take this start and evolve it further.

My personal goal is to never go back to corporate life. I would rather spend my time helping others get the most out of their careers and ultimately life.
