- Self-confidence is a general sense of trust in your overall abilities and judgment. It’s broad and not tied to any specific task (e.g., "I believe in myself").
- Self-efficacy is your belief in your ability to succeed at a specific task or in a particular situation (e.g., "I believe I can learn to play the piano" or "I can handle this project").
In short:→ Self-confidence = overall belief in yourself→ Self-efficacy = belief in your ability to do something specific
You'll need a healthy dose to implement metabolic therapy. And you'll find plenty of support in our group 🤗
I think this post on FB sums up the difference between self-confidence and self efficacy.
in case you don't have FB:
You don’t have to know how. You just have to know you can.
Most people let “how” stop them before they ever start.
They overthink.
They wait for certainty.
And they miss the opportunity that’s already there.
The truth is, the how reveals itself after the decision - never before.
Believe it's possible. Decide it’s yours. Then move.
Everything you need will begin to show up.
