Wholesalers/Distributers ask 4 Website

I am finding that many companies I reach out to in the hopes of opening an account to sourceare asking for my website. It seems like having a Gmail address is not a good idea even when filling out an application, what are we supposed to do about this?

They don’t want to see you are selling on Amazon. They want to know that you are a real company should we be creating a site with random products and the domain name? If we are only selling on Amazon, how do we get around them wanting to see you being either a brick and mortar store or a an online ? Half of the requests are ignored. I am assuming because I am using a Gmail address What is your experience and how do you deal with this request if you are not a retailer other than a new Seller on Amazon?
