Reality Shock
This morning I opened YouTube on my laptop and saw a random video in my home feed. I say random because it was different from the usual topics that the algorithm shows me. The thumbnail was a young guy looking terribly emaciated in bed. The title being ''Cancer, to infinity''. It was a foodie channel by the name of JUANJYOZA. I clicked the video, I wanted to hear his story, it wasn't a regular video whatsoever. Juan started addressing to his audience. He began uploading content a couple of years ago but unfortunately, few months after he noticed he was feeling bad. He went to the doctor and eventually they found out he had a very advanced colon cancer. Very, very unusual for someone his age. From then on, he was fighting it while uploading food content and getting momentum with his channel, growing his audience and whatnot. But his time among us was sadly approaching its final moments. The doctors told him he would only have somewhat ranging from a week to a month. His words were about how much he hesitated before starting creating content. About how even being a small channel, bigger names saw the content he made about their products and how they supported the reviews he made. His words were about encouraging us to do what we want to pursue, to not waste time. Often we see and hear the ''Memento mori'' phrase, but this type of raw reminder really makes you stop and think about it more deeply. Just wanted to share this with you, not to make your Sunday sad, but to help you feel a bit grateful for still having the opportunity to pursue your goals, your dreams, and also to fight the possible frustration that comes when the results are not yet there. Comet Browser
Hey guys, Perplexity launched their own AI integrated browser (PC/Mac). If you install it through my link, sign up and search a query they give you 1 month of Perplexity PRO. https://pplx.ai/silvnose97551 I've been using it for a while and find it very useful. What I found it lacks tho is answering with photos like google does when I look up a famous person or a place. DbK, ST.

Guided by AI
After some weeks I am using Perplexity as my main AI weapon. Followed by Gemini and ChatGPT for those tasks which I don't get the expected result for my queries. Sadly, Claude and Grok are being ghosted by me for now. What I like most about these tools is how easy it is to bypass any roadblock that might appear in your journey learning something new. I just got a Macbook as a lifetime windows user and also started learning about video editing on DaVinci Resolve. Let me say, any minor problem that I wanted solved I just asked perplexity and it would guide me to a fast solution. Something that before these LLM's apeared I would waste a lot of time browsing google just to get it done. And the best part is you just make a photo or take a screenshot of what you want changed and you send that and that's it. I can't recommend enough having these tools by your side while you are learning to do something. DbK, ST.
