Reality Shock
This morning I opened YouTube on my laptop and saw a random video in my home feed. I say random because it was different from the usual topics that the algorithm shows me. The thumbnail was a young guy looking terribly emaciated in bed. The title being ''Cancer, to infinity''. It was a foodie channel by the name of JUANJYOZA. I clicked the video, I wanted to hear his story, it wasn't a regular video whatsoever. Juan started addressing to his audience. He began uploading content a couple of years ago but unfortunately, few months after he noticed he was feeling bad. He went to the doctor and eventually they found out he had a very advanced colon cancer. Very, very unusual for someone his age. From then on, he was fighting it while uploading food content and getting momentum with his channel, growing his audience and whatnot. But his time among us was sadly approaching its final moments. The doctors told him he would only have somewhat ranging from a week to a month. His words were about how much he hesitated before starting creating content. About how even being a small channel, bigger names saw the content he made about their products and how they supported the reviews he made. His words were about encouraging us to do what we want to pursue, to not waste time. Often we see and hear the ''Memento mori'' phrase, but this type of raw reminder really makes you stop and think about it more deeply. Just wanted to share this with you, not to make your Sunday sad, but to help you feel a bit grateful for still having the opportunity to pursue your goals, your dreams, and also to fight the possible frustration that comes when the results are not yet there. Quick update, he passed away on the 26th of October. Very sad to hear, remember to smile and to feel grateful for being healthy. So easy to take it for granted ngl...

Following your instinct can be beneficial even if you end up being wrong. As long as you can analyze where and why you were wrong and learn the lesson, instead of still having the "what if" in the back of your mind.
Comet Browser
Hey guys, Perplexity launched their own AI integrated browser (PC/Mac). If you install it through my link, sign up and search a query they give you 1 month of Perplexity PRO. https://pplx.ai/silvnose97551 I've been using it for a while and find it very useful. What I found it lacks tho is answering with photos like google does when I look up a famous person or a place. DbK, ST.

Guided by AI
After some weeks I am using Perplexity as my main AI weapon. Followed by Gemini and ChatGPT for those tasks which I don't get the expected result for my queries. Sadly, Claude and Grok are being ghosted by me for now. What I like most about these tools is how easy it is to bypass any roadblock that might appear in your journey learning something new. I just got a Macbook as a lifetime windows user and also started learning about video editing on DaVinci Resolve. Let me say, any minor problem that I wanted solved I just asked perplexity and it would guide me to a fast solution. Something that before these LLM's apeared I would waste a lot of time browsing google just to get it done. And the best part is you just make a photo or take a screenshot of what you want changed and you send that and that's it. I can't recommend enough having these tools by your side while you are learning to do something. DbK, ST.

Experinenting with AI
This week I've been testing different LLM's Chatgpt/Grok/Gemini/Claude/Perplexity Pro (got a year for free that's why ๐Ÿค“) What have I liked using each of them briefly you ask ? Well, I enjoyed the speaking conversational mode of ChatGPT. You can explore whatever realm of knowledge you wish to while driving for exampe. It has a well rounded output for anything you might throw at him but the other AI models might win at specific queries. For example, Gemini is excellent with his Nano Banana integrated model to edit photos and to create pictures from scratch just sending a prompt. It makes it very easy and que quality is very impressive. I also liked copy and pasting YT videos so it summarizes them for me. But I found out that sometimes it does not do that work excusing itself with "I was unable to retrieve the information or transcript for the YouTube video at the URL you provided." When that happened I just went to Perplexity and I got perplexed receiving the answer in less than 5s. Truly astonishing. This AI has to be used more like a buffed search engine so I'm trying to adapt to be my new Google search bar. Grok. Haven't used it too much but I loved a lot a health related question that I had which I sent first to chatgpt. But Grok's answer deserved a 10/10 if I was a teacher. Editing photos I did not like it whatsoever. Maybe my prompting has to be refined but for now I'll go first to Gemini and Perplexity for sure. And lastly, Claude. My least used LLM. Great at coding as I heard and also at writing. Made a couple of queries, its answer seemed very complete and thorough. This is all for now. I have interest in Automations and getting good at prompting is mandatory, aka writing your instructions comprehensible enough for the LLM's to understand what you want at first try. DbK, ST.
