Day 1: Start With People You Already Know
The easiest way to get your first customers is not strangers on the internet — it’s the people who already know you. Your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and Facebook friends are your first audience. They already trust you. They already want to support you. 💡 Today’s simple action step: Post (or message) something like: “Hey! I’m starting a home baking business and I’ll be taking orders soon. If you ever need treats for birthdays, work, or events, I’d love your support!” You’re not being annoying. You’re letting people support you. 👇 Comment below: Where are you going to post first — Facebook, text messages, or word of mouth? Small steps. Real momentum. 🧁

📣 Let’s Talk About Promoting Your New Business
One of the hardest (and most important) parts of starting a baking business isn’t the baking — it’s telling people you exist. This week, we’re going to start learning how to put ourselves out there, even if it feels awkward, scary, or uncomfortable at first. You don’t need a huge following, a perfect brand, or fancy photos to start. You just need to start showing up. We’ll talk about: • How to tell people what you sell • Where to post and what to say • How to promote without feeling “salesy” • How to grow little by little, for real 💡 First small action step: Today, tell one person (or make one post) about what you’re building. Drop a comment and tell us: 👉 What are you planning to sell or bake? We’re building this together. One post, one customer, one step at a time. 🧁🤍
