Thoughts
Sometimes I wonder if this journey that I am currently on (MS) has anything to do with being busy in life. Let me explain.
I used to think that the more busy I was I thought the better life was supposed to be. I kind of wonder if that is why I’m on this journey to begin with because I never would slow down and this is God’s way of saying slow down son.
I’ve noticed that my muscles are getting more rigid as time goes on and that I have more challenges because of that. I do see a massage therapist weekly, but that’s just to get me through another week.
I don’t have any complaints except I’m just not the same as I used to be. But I can find time to relax and take in the scenery from around me. Maybe smell the roses and watch the birds and squirrels fight over who gets the food in the feeder.
I heard an interesting approach to MS this morning and it made sense to me. It was someone interviewing a Japanese elder who said that MS wasn’t too much of a problem there because they would feed the body what it was lacking: vitamin B. If they fed it enough, then the body would repair itself.
He went on to say what myelin was; made out of vitamin B. So to produce more of it, the body needs vitamin B. It’s amazing that the last blood test I had a week ago showed the same results. You can bet I’m going to start making sure that my body is getting enough of the nutrients it’s looking for.
Has anyone else heard of this? Please share.
Blessings
