After school kids activities
Hey everyone — I’d love to get some insight from this community about how you approach after-school activities for your kids. We’ve got three: - Our middle son is very active in soccer and really enjoys it. - Our oldest daughter is in swim three to four days a week. She’s consistent, but she doesn’t love it. She’s not naturally drawn to physical activity, but we think it’s important she stays involved in something active. - Our youngest, who’s five, also plays soccer. He’s probably the least active of the three, but still figuring out what he enjoys. We’re always trying to balance keeping them active with not overloading them — and making sure they don’t just come home and jump on a tablet every day. I’d love to hear from you: - What after-school activities are your kids involved in? - How do you decide what they do and how much is enough? - Any tips for keeping kids active when they don’t naturally lean that way? Looking forward to hearing what’s working for your families.

Live a little, but don’t make it a pattern.
Routine slipped a little — and that’s okay. 💭 Sometimes you need to rest, enjoy, and not stress about being “on” all the time. That’s healthy. But… I’m also not trying to live in that mode. A break is good — but I don’t want to build a pattern of drifting from the habits that actually strengthen me. So this weekend, I’m getting back to it. Back to early mornings. Back to discipline. Back to the habits that shape who I’m becoming. If you’ve been off your rhythm this week — grace to you. But let’s reset. Let’s move forward.

Thanksgiving Break = Routine Disrupted
This week’s been different — kids are home, I took some time off work, and my normal rhythm is out of sync. Tuesday and Wednesday, I tried something new: back-to-back workouts (gym + hot yoga). Gotta be honest… I’m not a fan 😅 Both days, my energy tanked during the second session. I usually split it up — early morning prayer run, then later in the day I’ll hit the gym or yoga once I’ve eaten and settled into the day. That’s way better for me. Lesson learned: I need that rhythm, space, and fuel between sessions. Curious — anyone else feel like their routines get thrown off during the holidays? How are you adjusting or staying consistent this week?

Father Figure Check-in!
What up everyone! my name is Lucas Gonzalez, I've been married for 15 years and have 3 kids ages: 11, 8 and 5. I've had to learn to become a morning person b/c that's the best time of the day for me, while the rest of the day is for the family, most days. Just wanted to hear if yall have kids, how many and what are their ages?
