Reflection: Growing Into My Confidence
Over the past month, I’ve realized how much my mindset and communication have evolved. The skills and frameworks I’ve learned here have not only made me better at what I do, but also more confident in how I carry myself at work and beyond.
I feel more grounded when I communicate with my team, and more at ease when I share ideas or challenge assumptions. I notice how I express myself more clearly with my manager and how I take ownership of my opinions instead of second-guessing them. This shift has helped me show up as a leader, not just a contributor.
I’ve also started to value my own expertise more. I can now look at my work and say, “This has real impact.” Whether it’s solving a tough technical problem, guiding a teammate, or improving a system, I see the bigger picture and the value I bring to it.
Interestingly, this new confidence has also changed how I interact with recruiters. I no longer feel the need to fit in or say yes to every opportunity. I can evaluate offers with clarity and know what aligns with my direction and growth. The outreach I receive almost daily feels like confirmation that I’m on the right path, and I’m sure the near-perfect opportunity will show up soon.
Most importantly, I’m proud of this inner growth. I’m more patient, more intentional, and more confident in my ability to lead, communicate, and make an impact. The journey continues, but I can already see how much stronger and more focused I’ve become.
