VF Web Chat API With Voiceglow

I'm new to Voiceglow. I'm familiar with working with Voiceflow's Web Chat API, to programmatically do actions on the VF Chatbot directly from the html file. This is to be able to do things like displaying proactive messages, call the chatbot to start from a specific intent e.t.c I'm curious how this will play out when I deploy the chatbot via Voiceglow, is there a similar web chat API on voiceglow, or what's your suggestion?
