Is VOICE AI Practical?

Hey all. All the cool voice AI with Retell, VAPI, Eleven Labs is awesome BUT how does this work in the real world. ie how do you connect this to a business. Is there a VOIP system that integrates well with AI voice systems to existing business phone numbers. Do you divert to a voip number in TWILIO, is there another solution?

I have tuned the voice AI, but the last mile is to connect to a real business. Love to hear some practical solutions for this.
