GTC March 2025 Keynote with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang
my conclusions from this video:
- nvidia is resisting giving prosumer technology that will allow the to locally hosting of llm/ai models
- if you dont push back your data will belong to corporations and governments and you will remain a product to be manipulated and influenced.
- nvidia does not care about gamers that is visible by their horrible gpu launch and their pricing model.
- AI is a bubble but they will ride that bubble until all data channels/api gateways and costs (hosting, operating, computing) associated with it falls to the level where local hosting, local management and retention of privacy and control over your own data becomes impossible. welcome to the matrix. enjoy your stay.
