4k deal closed! - Tips on processing complex PDFs

Hey guys, quick share on my recent win in my agency.

Just closed a deal for 4k parliament chatbot!

Setup fee: 4k

Monthly retainer: $75 (ChatDash client dashboard fee 50%, 1 million token usage 50%)

I showed them a demo that is trained on their partial kb.

For the production chatbot, it’s gonna be a FAQ chatbot (with no intent, just RAG) and the training data would be mostly in pdf format containing a lot of tabular and images inside of it.

IMPORTANT Tips on using pdf, tabular data for RAG:

Turn them into markdown text using llamaparse. You can parse all the tables and images into markdown text on their cloud service. (It’s free to convert 1000 pages per day)
