My name is Rashaun, and I am a self taught Bboy of 9 years experience. I’ve had some mentorship online and in person as I’ve learned, but I mostly been figuring out this dance on my own. It’s my dream to be good at Breaking and to reach an advanced level. I’ve spent years watching the greats on YouTube and Instagram, and I want to see myself in the same light. Last year I had the privilege to fly to Europe on my own for Outbreak 2025. It was a dream to learn and become friends with world class athletes. I never lived close enough or grew up in an environment where I could consistently receive hands on training to become the dancer I always dreamed of. With the Job market being really bad and living in a small town I’m not able to travel to sessions as much as I’d like to. I feel held back, alone, and wasting away because I KNOW. I could be as good as my local peers. My dream is to move to master the basics, create style with my own unique abilities, move to Europe, and visit and train with my new friends, and get as close as I can to being as good as them.

I started in 1998 (self taught) been one of the few bboys from my city to do this style. I'll be 44 in a few weeks. I have about 28 years in but I still have alot to learn.
