YouTube Thumbnail Formula #1
I was on YouTube This morning, and something jumped out at me.
I noticed the videos that caught my attention had a specific thumbnail formula!
Now this is only relevant to when there is TEXT ON THE THUMBNAIL.
But here's what I noticed:
The text in the image should be
  • An order or instruction to do
  • Best saying "YOU" in it
  • Often is accompanied by an arrow.
The title is normal and almost supportive, as if the order of the text in the image was of primary importance.
In other words, a long subtitle.
It's done by some people, but it's still not extremely common.
Perhaps no one has caught on to doing this deliberately?
I've updated one of the "close calls" that didn't have this formula and you can see that the new "you need this" has far more interest and is about YOU.
Do you agree?
Let's Discuss!
