...and not really listen to anyone else. When it comes to expression and the core of your brand, going against the grain is usually the right move. Alignment beats approval. E.G. I just updated the classroom thumbnail images to reflect the heart of Brandfluencers (aka. Buon Co.) Elevated, Artistic, Intentional. I have been playing it safe, doing what "sells" doing what "people like this better". Know what... not this year. I'm going to do things "i" think are GOOD. I HOPE others like it. but that's not the point. I think these thumbnails rule! MOREโ at the heart of my own expression that helped form my design company back in 2011, was darkness. Often faceless. Abstract. Simple. Black and white or bold colors. A slightly macabre edge. Struggle breeds interest. Align with your brand, not what you think makes people comfortable.
