Hi and thanks for looking at joining my community.
I'm Amy, a massive nerd with previous in Sports Science, Nutrition, Manual Therapy and Personal Training.
I have been known to dabble in competitive sport and competitions. I think my career highlight would be winning UKs Strongest Woman in 2020, but have got a cupboard full of trophies and medals for the other things I have enjoyed.
Ultra marathons, Hyrox, Swimming, Running, Hockey
Anyway, I was frustrated working as a PT and not able to help clients fully recover from injury so I would have to refer them out and would rarely learn how they were doing.
I dug a little deeper to find the missing link from fitness and strength rehab to actual success with patients - Welcome to Applied Neurology.
It is a hard topic to learn, the theory is difficult, but I want to bring it to the forefront of everything because it is so impactful, not just for my own goals but I am now able to help patients recover without the need to refer out!!!
