New hunting traditions
I've decided to keep track of the harvest of each of my arrows. One of the things I really appreciate about archery is that unlike a rifle, you can get years out of the same projectile. A couple years ago I put this set together. 6 flu flu, and 6 4-fletch for small game, aswell as 6 3-fletch for big game. I wish I'd been doing this the whole time. I've come up with a colour scheme and im adding rings to my arrows to keep track of which arrow has harvested what. Gold rings for bear (none yet) silver for deer, blue for grouse, and brown for hare. It will be cool to see how many harvest I can get with each. Just one more connection to my gear and my game.
