Heavy FOC Arrows
Has anyone used the GrizzlyStik carbon arrows? I’ve used them for years and just this past year realized what a difference it makes to fine tune my arrows to my bows. I got a fantastic match for my 58# bow with a 400 spine getting 10.8 gpp. Now on the other hand, my 65 pounder is a no go for these arrows. I even cut the shelf out to be a center cut to make sure it wasn’t creating too much archers paradox, and what that did was improve the arrow to bullseye ratio, but it didn’t change anything for spine issues. The 320 spine was too weak and their 240 spine was way too stiff. The arrow weight was too light or too heavy, so I got a non-tapered shaft from the same manufacture that is a 300 spine and that should fix the problem.
Now over the years I’ve collected a pile of 320 spine arrows that I am not shooting, so I’ll need to get a bow that these arrows will match. A guy needs about 10-15 bows at a variety of weights to be ready for anything! 😂
