Getting youth hunting with a Tradbow
Youth Tradbow Post 2 for the week!
Getting kids off on the right foot has a lot more to do with letting them go and explore and a lot less with over coaching.
Video 2 and 3 are examples of progressive shooting - shooting since she was 2 - at 7 years old in that first video and 11 in the second.
She was drawing almost 25# at 7 with that checkmate recurve.. 35# at 11 and by the spring- finally 40# and into year after.
She is now getting 45# out of her Kiowa recurve at 15 years.. and can shoot my 53# Howatt Hi- Speed up to around 48# at her draw length.
Time and patience.. it all pays off. Get a kid shooting today!
