🔔 "I've Been Quiet... Here's Why"
Hey Ethical Predator family 👋 I've been quiet in here for a while... and I owe you an explanation. The honest truth? Grant and I got caught off guard. The demand for the t-shirt club and the book completely outpaced what our fulfillment setup could handle. Orders were delayed. Mistakes were made. And instead of showing up in here pretending everything was fine, I went heads-down to fix it. That's what I do. I'm the one behind the scenes making sure this thing actually runs. For the past several weeks I've been rebuilding our entire fulfillment process from the ground up ...researching new partners, fixing the book side, fixing the shirt side, and making sure that when we make a promise to this community, we can actually keep it. We're not 100% there yet. But we're close. And what's coming is so much better than what we had. I'm not going to overpromise. What I will say is this... 👕 The t-shirt club is about to get a serious upgrade. 📚 The book fulfillment is being moved to a platform built for it. And Grant and I are more committed to this community than we've ever been. You stuck with us. We don't take that lightly. More updates coming soon...and I'm back. 👊 👉 Quick question for the community What would make The Ethical Predator Community an absolute must-show-up-every-day kind of place for you? More of Grant's hunting stories? Live Q&A sessions? Gear breakdowns? Member spotlights? A space to share your own hunts and get real feedback? Drop it below. We're listening and we're actually going to do something with your answers. 🎯 — Jenn

👋 Welcome to TradBowhunter - Ethical Predator
If you’re here, it’s because you believe something most people don’t: How you hunt matters. Not just the result - the process. This community is for traditional bowhunters who value: - Ethics over shortcuts - Discipline over gear - Process over outcome - Tradition as something you live, not just talk about You don’t have to prove anything here. You just have to respect the craft. My name is Jenn Richardson, my husband, Grant Richardson and I created this group, TradBowhunter - Ethical Predator. This is a passion piece for Grant and I...My hubby, the subject matter expert with Traditional Bowhunting as well as an author, podcast host and 3rd generation traditional bowhunter. We wanted to bring like minded people together and create a place to share their experiences with traditional bowhunting. 🧭 HOW THIS COMMUNITY WORKS (IMPORTANT) There are two valid paths here - both are respected. 🟢 Free Members Some bowhunters: - Learn quietly - Practice when they can - Improve steadily over time That path is welcome here. 🔥 Premium Members (Optional) Others want: - Structure - A repeatable shot process - Coaching instead of guessing Premium exists for clarity and progression, not status. 👉 You never need Premium to belong. It's about timing - not commitment. 🚦 DO THIS FIRST (2 MINUTES) 1️⃣ Introduce Yourself (Do This Now) Create a post and answer one or two of these: - Where are you shooting from? - How long have you been shooting traditional? - What’s the ONE thing you want to improve right now? Short posts are perfect. 2️⃣ Start in the Classroom Go to the Classroom and begin with: 👉 Start Here This will save you months of trial and error. 3️⃣ Engage Once This Week You don’t need to post every day. Just: - Comment on one post - Ask one question - Share one small win

Recovery Bows
I’ve acquired a couple bows for my shoulder recovery. 1st is a 60” Arc Rolun Snake, 22#@26” and the 2nd is a 60” Sage, 40#@28”. Couldn’t find any low poundage longbows I liked for the funds I had available, so I’ll settle for recurves. I’m super excited to get to the point of my recovery to be able to start shooting again. Also, I still have 8 of 12 Douglas Fir woodies that I think will tune out of the Sage. I broke 4 of them trying to get them to tune for my longbow, but they’re too weak for that. They’re 50-55 spine. So I’m pretty excited about working on a batch of woodies as well! Shoot straight and have fun Peeps!🏹
Stick bow shooting tips for better accuracy
Following through on your shot is critical to accuracy, stability and framing your entire shooting experience no matter what aiming style or shooting method! Good follow-through allows for good stability through your entire shot process and it is critical for any type of shooting method! I have many friends that still shoot 3-D competition although though I haven’t done so in sometime now do you have a different bow you shoot in your 3-D season then your hunting season I have one good friend of mine in California that shoots his hunting set up and does extremely well throughout the 3-D season. We have a comment below. ⬇️
