3 Days of Chemo in 4 Minutes
Ive been fighting cancer this fall and winter. My deer season was destroyed and for me that was the worst part of this whole shitty mess. For the first time in the last 35 years there is no deer meat in our freezer. For the first time in 45 years I missed deer season. Here is a look at what I go though every 2 weeks. Its raw and hard to watch but cancer touches us all and as a retired journalist this is my way of giving back and attemping to shine a light on fighting cancer. This coming Tuesday I have my last session of chemotherapy. I get to ring that damn bell. They gave me 6 months to a year now we are talking 2 to 4 years. I have good days and bad days and my one major take away is this. A good day should be seized like its your last one and for me that's my reality. I love this new venture in traditional archery hunting I just hope to be more engaged in the future. I LOVE BOWHUNTING. That's what is going on my headstone.
