Book Promo Lab - Test Two
Let’s move into Test Two. In Test One, we focused on sharing one lesson your book teaches. That helped us think about the value inside the book and what readers can take away from it. Now we are going one step deeper. For this test, focus on the problem your book solves. A lot of authors promote their books by saying: “My book is available.” “Order your copy.” “Buy my book today.” There is nothing wrong with that, but sometimes readers need to understand why the book matters to them before they feel ready to buy. Try creating a post that starts with the problem. You can use prompts like: Are you struggling with ______? Have you ever felt like ______? Do you keep wondering how to ______? This book was written for the person who ______. Then connect that problem back to your book. Your book may help someone feel seen, learn something new, heal from something, understand something, or take action in a different way. The clearer you are about the problem, the stronger your promotion becomes. Your task: Create one post this week that shares the problem your book solves. Comment below: What problem does your book solve? Or have you ever promoted your book this way before? Did it work? Boss Writer Lesson: Book promotion should not only point people to the book. It should help them understand why the book matters.

BOOK PROMO LAB - TEST ONE!
Let’s test a simple book promotion move. Instead of only saying, “Buy my book,” share one lesson your book teaches. People often connect with the value before they connect with the offer. Try one of these: My book teaches readers how to…One lesson from my book is…If you are struggling with ___, this part of my book will help you… This works because it gives people a reason to care before you ask them to buy. Your book is not just a product. It carries a message, a solution, a story, or a shift. Use this to build a social media graphic or a website post. Your task: Create one post this week sharing a lesson from your book. Comment : What is one lesson your book teaches? Or have you tried this before? Did it work? Post the social media or website link of where you have posted it in the chat so we can take a look. I am looking forward to this!!

Branding Idea!
Recently I went to a private opening of Celine In Dior exhibition in Montreal! Often when I record content that can seem unrelated to my business I look for the layers and connections a little deeper. Here is the result of how I took a visit to a museum and focused it on my business and brand. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DYVjbxBRcPj/?igsh=MTJoM3N3dHNyeHVlZw==
