Pray for the man I used to be —
the one who stayed silent to protect everyone but himself.
For years, I protected my family.
I stayed quiet to honor my wife.
I shielded my daughters from questions, judgment, and exposure.
I carried the weight alone so they wouldn’t have to.
That man loved deeply…
but he paid for it with his voice.
The new me just got born.
I stepped out of the shell and posted my truth.
Today the new me stepped forward —
speaking for men in pain,
for children carrying invisible bruises,
for families who need truth,
for people who need land, shelter, and language
because they never had the vocabulary.
BPC family…
mark this day.
AJ stepped out of the shell he lived in for decades.
Unapologetically.
I’m here.
And I’m not going back.
