There was a time before I became part of the sandwich generation…Before caregiving, responsibility, constant thinking about everyone else’s needs.
I remember fun.
I remember calm.
I remember not living on a hamster wheel.
Life shifted as it does for so many of us 💕 and my body felt that shift long before I had words for it.
Tightness
Fatigue.
Always “on.”
Always bracing.
Here’s what I’ve learned:✨ The body remembers who we were before survival mode.✨ And that calm, grounded version of us isn’t gone we can reconnect to ourselves
Not all at once. Not by going backward
But by listening … 👂 and choosing awareness again.
👉 If you’re part of the sandwich generation (or have been), what’s one feeling your body remembers from before and one small way you invite a little of that back now?
You’re not alone. 💛👣
Right now I’m choosing some fun things to do again!!
What about you?
