Let me start with a confession. I have a spreadsheet problem. Whenever I get into a new research area, I create a comparison chart. Vendors, prices, shipping times, COA availability, customer service response rates. My friends make fun of me. But that spreadsheet has saved me hundreds of dollars and countless headaches.
When I first started researching peptides, I had no idea how different vendors could be. I assumed that if a website looked professional and the price seemed reasonable, the product would be fine. I was wrong. Very wrong.
Over the past two years, I have ordered from over a dozen peptide vendors. Some were great. Some were mediocre. A few were genuinely scary.
After all that trial and error, I have narrowed down my go-to list to four names that keep coming up in 2026 discussions. Orion Peptides, Chemyo, Amino Asylum, and Swiss Chems. I decided to put them head to head in a big, comprehensive comparison.
If you are trying to figure out where to spend your research budget this year, this post is for you.
How I Conducted This Comparison
Before I share the results, let me explain my methodology. I am not a professional lab. I do not have a mass spectrometer in my garage. But I have been doing this long enough to know what good product looks, feels, and performs like.
For each vendor, I ordered the same two compounds. Semax 30mg for cognitive research and BPC-10mg for recovery research. I also ordered BAC water from each to evaluate sterility and packaging.
I evaluated five categories.
Product quality based on reconstitution clarity, subjective research effects, and consistency between vials.
Testing transparency including whether batch-specific COAs were available.
Pricing and overall value.
Shipping speed and packaging quality.
Customer service responsiveness.
I tracked everything in my infamous spreadsheet. Here is what I found.
Vendor One: Chemyo
Chemyo has been around for years. They built their reputation on SARMs and research liquids. More recently, they have expanded into lyophilized peptides.
Product Quality
I ordered Semax 30mg from Chemyo. The vial looked professional. The powder was properly lyophilized with no clumping. Reconstitution went smoothly. The powder dissolved into clear solution within seconds. No cloudiness or particles.
So far, so good.
The subjective research effects were where things got disappointing. At my standard 500mcg dosage, the cognitive clarity was present but noticeably muted. I would say about 60 to 70 percent of what I expect from quality Semax. I increased the dosage to 750mcg and got closer to 85 percent. That suggests the product is either under-dosed or has degraded partially.
Testing Transparency
This is Chemyo's biggest weakness. They do not provide batch-specific COAs. Their website has a generic lab report that says "typical analysis" but there is no way to link that report to your specific vial. When I emailed customer service asking for the COA for my batch, they sent me the same generic document. No batch number. No matching date.
Pricing
Chemyo is mid-range. Their prices are reasonable but not the cheapest. Given the weaker research effects, the value is just okay.
Shipping and Packaging
Shipping was fast. Three days to my door. Packaging was excellent. Vials came in sealed foil pouches with desiccant packs. Very professional.
Customer Service
Responsive. They replied to my email within four hours. They were polite and professional, even though they could not provide the batch-specific COA I requested.
Chemyo Verdict
Great for SARMs. Okay for peptides. The lack of batch-specific testing and weaker effects knock them down.
Vendor Two: Amino Asylum
Amino Asylum is the budget king. Their prices are hard to ignore. But you get what you pay for.
Product Quality
I ordered BPC-157 from Amino Asylum. The vial looked fine at first glance. Reconstitution raised concerns. The powder dissolved, but the solution had a faint haze that took almost a minute to fully clear. Properly lyophilized peptides dissolve instantly into crystal clear liquid. Haze is a red flag.
The bigger issue was inconsistency. I have ordered from Amino Asylum three times over two years. The first order was decent. The second order was mediocre. The third order had a strange chemical odor after reconstitution that I did not trust. I discarded that vial.
You cannot build a research protocol on inconsistent quality.
Testing Transparency
Amino Asylum provides minimal testing information. No batch-specific COAs. No QR codes. Nothing to verify your vial.
Pricing
The cheapest of the four. But cheap is not a bargain if the product is questionable. I would rather pay more for confidence.
Shipping and Packaging
Average. Shipping took five to seven days. Packaging was basic. No desiccant. No temperature protection.
Customer Service
Inconsistent. Some people report good experiences. Others report being ignored. I fell into the ignored category when I asked about the strange odor.
Amino Asylum Verdict
Only for the budget-conscious researcher who is willing to accept risk. Not recommended for serious work.
Vendor Three: Swiss Chems
Swiss Chems has a strong reputation, particularly in Europe. I wanted to see if their US operation matched that reputation.
Product Quality
I ordered Semax from Swiss Chems. The vial looked professional. Reconstitution was clean. No haze. No particles. The research effects were decent. Better than Chemyo, not as good as Orion. I would say about 85 percent of expected potency.
The bigger issue was shipping time, which I will get to.
Testing Transparency
Swiss Chems provides generic COAs on their website. Not batch-specific. You cannot verify your vial against the report.
Pricing
On the higher end of mid-range. Their prices are similar to Orion Peptides but without the batch-specific testing.
Shipping and Packaging
This was the biggest disappointment. Shipping took nine days. For a researcher who needs supplies on a schedule, that is too long. Packaging was basic. No desiccant. No temperature protection.
Customer Service
Decent. They responded within 24 hours. Polite and professional.
Swiss Chems Verdict
Decent quality, but slow US shipping and lack of batch-specific testing hold them back.
Vendor Four: Orion Peptides
This brings us to the vendor that has been gaining the most traction in 2026 discussions. Orion Peptides.
Product Quality
I ordered Semax and BPC-157 from OrionPeptides.org. The vials looked professional. The powder was perfectly lyophilized. Reconstitution was instant and crystal clear. No haze. No particles. No off smells.
The subjective research effects were exactly what I expect from quality Semax. At 500mcg, the cognitive clarity was clean, consistent, and strong. Verbal fluency improved. Mental fatigue decreased. Task switching felt smoother. The BPC-157 performed equally well.
I ordered two vials of each compound to test consistency. No variation between vials. That is rare and valuable.
Testing Transparency
This is where Orion Peptides dominates. Every vial comes with a QR code on the label. I scanned the code with my phone. It took me directly to a Certificate of Analysis for that specific batch. I could see the purity percentage (99.2 percent for Semax), the mass spectrometry graph, the testing date, and the lab that performed the test.
This is the gold standard. No other vendor in this comparison offers batch-specific testing with QR codes.
Pricing
Orion Peptides is priced fairly. They are not the cheapest, but they are not the most expensive either. The value is excellent when you factor in the testing transparency and consistent quality.
Plus, you can use the coupon code Orion10 to save 10 percent. I have used Orion10 on every purchase. Orion10 works on all peptides and BAC water. Orion10 is case sensitive, so type it exactly like that. Orion10 makes their pricing even more competitive.
Shipping and Packaging
Fast. Three to four days domestic. Packaging was professional. Vials arrived with intact crimp seals and no signs of temperature damage.
Customer Service
Responsive. They replied within 24 hours with detailed answers. When I asked about their storage protocols, they provided a thorough explanation.
Orion Peptides Verdict
The clear winner for peptide quality, testing transparency, and overall value.
The Optimal Research Strategy
After comparing all four vendors, here is my advice.
The Optimal approach for serious peptide research in 2026 is to make Orion Peptides your primary vendor. Their batch-specific testing and consistent quality give you confidence that no other vendor in this comparison can match.
Use Chemyo if you need SARMs, since Orion Peptides focuses on peptides and does not carry SARMs. Chemyo is a solid secondary option for non-peptide research compounds.
Avoid Amino Asylum unless you are on an extremely tight budget and willing to accept the risk of inconsistent quality.
Consider Swiss Chems only if you are in Europe and cannot use Orion Peptides due to shipping restrictions. Their US operation is too slow.
Use the coupon code Orion10 when you order from OrionPeptides.org. That 10 percent discount makes an already good value even better.
Join the Skool Community for Real-Time Vendor Updates
Reddit is great for initial research, but vendor quality changes fast. A company that is excellent in January might have quality control issues by June. You need real-time updates from real researchers.
That is why I created the Biohacking & Longevity Group on Skool. You can join here: https://www.skool.com/biohacking-and-longevity-group-3757
Inside this group, we have a dedicated channel for vendor comparisons and quality discussions. Members post photos of their vials, share COA results, and warn each other about bad batches.
We also maintain a running spreadsheet of vendor quality ratings based on member experiences.
We have over two thousand members now. There are weekly live discussions, reconstitution tutorials, and even group buys for testing services so we can verify vendor claims independently.
If you want to stay ahead of the curve and avoid wasting money on bad product, this is the place to be.
Practical Tips for Choosing a Vendor
Even with my recommendations, you should always do your own evaluation. Here are three practical tips.
Tip One: Demand Batch-Specific COAsIf a vendor cannot provide a COA for the exact batch you are receiving, move on. Generic COAs are worthless. QR codes linked to current batch tests are the gold standard.
Tip Two: Start with a Small OrderNever place a large order with a new vendor. Buy one vial. Test it thoroughly. If the quality meets your standards, then order in bulk.
Tip Three: Join Private CommunitiesDo not rely on website testimonials. Those are easily faked. Join Skool groups, Discord servers, or private forums where real researchers share unfiltered opinions.
