Lesson 4 - Faith in Waiting
Scripture: James 5:7 NIV “Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.” Have you ever waited on rain—truly waited through a drought? When the ground grows so dry that cracks open wide enough to swallow your foot? We have. We have hauled water for animals and hand-watered gardens, all while watching the sky and praying for rain. We have spread seed across the pasture and raked it in, trusting that rain would come in its time. There have been seasons when drought forced hard decisions—selling animals because hay became too costly to afford. These moments teach us that for everything there is a season: a season of waiting, a season of learning, and a season of gratitude for what we still have. And when the rain finally comes, it is received not just with relief, but with a deeper, humbler thankfulness. Farm Focus: Watching animals grow Devotional Thought: Growth takes time, but God is always working beneath the surface. Discussion Questions: 1. What is something you are waiting for? 2. How can you trust God while you wait? Kid-Friendly Prompt: Plant a seed or water a plant and watch it grow this week.

🤣🐐 When you’re just trying to milk a goat… but chaos has other plans!🥛😂
Picture this: I’m calmly milking, thinking I’ve got everything under control… and suddenly a baby goat decides I’m a jungle gym 🧗‍♀️🐐—climbing on my back, hopping on my shoulders, and *trying to eat my hair* like it’s premium hay! 🌾😅 Meanwhile, mama goat is over there like, “Excuse me, child—have some manners!” 😤🐐 Farm life = zero personal space and 100% entertainment 🤣💛 🐐 Funny Goat Fact: Goats have rectangular pupils 👀—which means they can see almost 360° around them! So yes… that kid definitely saw my hair from across the pen and thought, “Snack time!” 😂 👉 Don’t forget to like, laugh, and subscribe for more farm chaos!

Lesson 3 – Work Is Worship
Scripture: Colossians 3:23 NIV “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,” My sanctuary is found in cleaning the barn—mucking stalls, washing and refilling water buckets, sweeping the aisle, refilling hay feeders, and laying fresh bedding. These simple, faithful tasks bring a deep sense of calm and satisfaction. With a radio on or earbuds in, the work easily turns into worship, and songs rise as naturally as the dust settles. Whether it’s weeding the garden, preparing soil for planting, building a fence, or tending to daily chores, do it all with a joyful heart. Be thankful for the work before you and grateful for the life you’ve been given to live and steward. Farm Focus: Daily chores Devotional Thought:Even the simplest work becomes worship when done for God. Discussion Questions: 1. What chore can you do joyfully this week? 2. How does working hard honor God? Kid-Friendly Prompt: Draw a picture of you helping on the farm or in the garden.
