I want to tell you why I built this community.
A few years ago, a patient, I'll call her Linda came in for a routine follow-up. Her CRP was down. Her DAS28 score was good. By every clinical measure, she was doing well.
I asked her how she was really doing.
She paused. Then she said:
"Honestly, Dr. Subedi? I feel like RA has made my world smaller. I used to garden every weekend. I haven't been able to in two years. I stopped going to my book club because I never know how I'll feel. My family tries to understand but they don't really get it. I'm grateful the medication is working. I just... I thought I'd feel more like myself by now."
I've never forgotten that conversation.
Because it wasn't a clinical problem. It was a life problem. And no prescription was going to solve it.
That's when I knew I needed to build something beyond the 20-minute appointment.
