I Walked Into a Stranger's Office. Left With a Business Partner and a Physical Product.
This week something happened that I didn't plan.
I was walking past a building I pass every single day. For some reason — curiosity, maybe instinct — I stopped, looked in, and walked through the door.
Inside was someone working with 3D printing equipment. I introduced myself. We started talking. An hour later I walked out with a potential business partner — and a physical print of the first 3D model I've ever been genuinely proud of.
I'd been building it quietly for weeks. Started as a sketch on paper. Became a Blender model. Never expected to hold a physical version this soon.
I made a short video of the entire process. From the first sketch to holding it in my hands. Six stages. One simple idea taken all the way to life.
The line I kept coming back to while editing it:
"Start with the idea. Model it. Work on it. Shape it. Refine it. And bring it to life."
That's not just about 3D modeling. That's about everything worth building.
I'm 29, building from Niš, Serbia. Working full time while launching a game development course on July 31. Learning in public, shipping in public, staying curious about every door I pass.
This week that curiosity paid off in a way I didn't expect.
The lesson I'm sitting with: Opportunities don't announce themselves. They're behind doors you almost didn't open.
Has anyone else had a moment like this — where staying curious changed the direction of something completely?
