Spreedsheet tracking!
Hi everyone, I'm looking to improve the way I track my reselling business and wondered what systems everyone else uses.
I already use Google Sheets to track all my sourcing from charity shops and car boot sales. I record the total spent on each trip, the number of items bought, and work out an average cost per item, which I then use as the buy price for everything from that haul.
What I'm looking to improve is everything after that.
How do you efficiently track:
Active inventory value
Cost of goods sold
eBay fees
Postage costs
Net profit per item
Monthly and yearly profit
ROI
Average selling price
Average buy price
Sell-through rate
Stock value still sitting on the shelves
Expences used to run business
Do you keep everything in one spreadsheet or have separate tabs for sourcing, active inventory, sold items and expenses? If anyone has a spreadsheet template or screenshots of their layout, I'd really appreciate seeing how you've organised it. I'm looking for an efficient system that gives a good overview of the business without spending hours updating it.
Thanks!
