🚨 IMPORTANT COMMUNITY UPDATE — READ BEFORE 5th OCT 🙏🚨
This is probably the biggest update we've made since launching Behind The Listings, so please give this one a read — particularly if you're currently on the Standard membership. After a lot of conversations between me & @Simon Smith , and after speaking openly with the guys on last night's Q&A, we've made the decision that: From Monday 5th October, Behind The Listings will become a 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗱-𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀-𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. That means the current $19/month membership will become the standard BTL membership, and the standard membership will be removed. I want to explain properly why we're doing this, because this genuinely isn't simply about putting the group behind a paywall. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘? 👀 When we launched BTL around two months ago, the idea was to build a big free reseller community with an optional Premium membership sitting within it. And honestly... the growth has been ridiculous. We've gone from nothing to 650+ members in a matter of weeks 🤯 We've absolutely loved seeing all the introductions, questions, pickups, wins and conversations — and there are some genuinely brilliant people in here. But actually running the community every single day has made us realise something. We don't want to build the biggest reseller community possible. We want to build the BEST one we possibly can. A smaller, hyper-focused community of people who genuinely care about reselling, want to improve, get involved, share knowledge and help each other. The free side has grown so quickly that both me and Simon have started feeling increasingly stretched trying to keep up with introductions, questions, comments, messages and everything else that comes with it. That's on us — nobody is demanding that we reply to everything! 😅 But we genuinely care about this community, so when somebody asks for help, we feel a responsibility to try and help them.

The right decision, I think its good value for what your getting. I have learned soo much in such a little time .
Containers/ lock ups
I know its different prices in different parts of the country but how much are you paying? Just been quoted this ( £370 roughly) and a couple of similar prices for a 20' container. It is only a 5 min drive maximum from my home. You can get ones out of town for £160 but depending on the time of day could take the best part of an hour to get there.

@Victoria Rose wow that sounds amazing. Cheaper than some quotes I got for a 160ft 😆

Little update. On the wait list for 2/3 months for a container with 24/7 access- some places here can only get in during opening hours. 5-10 mins from my house but 1 min away from my daughters school. So can fit in with my daily journeys anyway. £220 a month. Not the cheapest but makes the most sense overall. Going from a tiny cupboard i was still using in July and moving into a 8x6 shed and less than 2 months later now needing a even bigger space 😆 Good problems too have I suppose
Hackett Cardy
Hey. Anyone know how much I should list this for? I’m not really knowledgeable on men’s. It’s a perfect Q4 piece I would think. It’s made in Italy with yarn from the British Isles 95% Merino Wool 5% cashmere. Proper heavy. Good condition but some wear on the elbow patches. Got it off Vinted for £15. Thanks 😉

AI stains to get the item for free
I’ve read about this but didn’t think it would happen but it has. Had a customer use AI stains to try and get the item for free. I happily paid for the postage label for a return.😂 This is why I try and stay away from selling cheaper things as the most issues arise I find! I use my personal account to list items I just want to get rid of that don’t have value for my pro store. And for context no that item looked nothing like that when I sent it 😂😭

Thats mental, using ai to do that, As you say , im moving away from the sub £10 items, as they seem to cause the most issues- even though there was nothing wrong with them.
