What should I Talk about?!
I've been playing with the idea a bunch of times.. Do a TEDx. But the same thing keeps holding me back: WHAT should I talk about?! I'm "no-one" "Why should people even listen to me?" "What do I have of value to say?" These thoughts eat me up from the inside. And they don't do me any well. Nothing good comes out of this thought pattern. And now with the competition coming up, I saw a comment about not knowing what to say and instantly recognised myself.. ..so I went into the course we've created for SKOOLx and had a look. If I was a competitor and was doing this, what help would I get? And I realised, it doesn't have to be so hard. Because every single one of us carries a story. Carries with us something of interest to others: 1. A turning point in your career or life 2. A mistake that taught you something valuable 3. An unexpected challenge you overcame 4. A belief you held that turned out to be wrong 5. A skill or mindset that transformed your life 6. The moment you found your voice Not knowing what to say in your talk might be holding you back.. but it shouldn't. Any of these 6 is a powerful story to be shared. Don't let fear of "What should I Talk about?!" hold you back. Sign up to SKOOLx today, break this belief about yourself and get started!

Sharing a Moment of Praise
Hello, all! So, I just spoke at Columbia University (it's a different story) and have been TOO TOO TOO busy, but I wanted to share praise from a podcast host for my latest podcast adventure: I wanted to share the wonderful feedback I got from my recent podcast host. I am deeply in the midst of promoting my just published, "ARE RELATIONSHIPS FOR SUCKERS?", based on 54 years with my beloved and the last 7 years sharing advice, insights and practical wisdom on Quora.com where I've accumulated over 34.5 million views and thousands of upvotes and compliments. Although she obviously used AI to write this email, it was still lovely: ""We're deeply grateful for your participation in the We Can Do It Women 60+ Community interview. Your profound insights about enduring love, communication, and surviving life's pressures together deeply resonated with our community. Key moments that stood out: - Your 54 years together through "magnificent and terrible" times—the terrible years mostly from outside pressures (financial, emotional, children's challenges), not from your relationship itself - - Surviving 10 years on welfare after the 2008 financial crisis destroyed Eli's financial industry career—and coming through stronger - - Understanding that romantic love has two stages: the honeymoon stage (lust, attraction, brain chemicals) and enduring love (work, commitment, communication on the deepest spiritual level) - - Your seven years answering relationship questions on Quora—27,000 posts with 34.5 million views—because you witnessed skyrocketing divorce rates and unnecessary heartbreak - - Your advice when relationships hit tough times: rededicate yourself, remember why you fell in love, remember your best moments together, take a weekend away without phones and reconnect - - Your powerful message: "If we can do it, so can you" - We have been sharing your interview across our platforms." Test something new in your speech
I want to ask a question from you, How often do you test a new thing in your speech, I mean telling a funny joke, a private story, role playing and other things. For years, I didn't want to try new things in my speech because I think it could put me in a risk of criticism. What will happen if I cannot do it well! And I was remaining in my comfort zone, but recently I decided to test new things and improve my speech. What is your opinion and experience for this?
