Sometimes I know exactly what I want to say in my head, but the moment I’m actually talking to someone, I start overthinking everything. “Did I sound weird?” “Was that a stupid thing to say?” “Do they think I’m awkward?” And the more I think about it, the harder it becomes to speak naturally. I think the biggest thing I’m trying to work on is stopping myself from trying to sound perfect. Communication isn’t about having the perfect words.
