Let’s connect if you teach 7doors yoga!
I’m so happy with this platform because I like to make 7doors yoga a thing in the Netherlands. We simply don’t have it there :( Did my 200 hrs with Alexander Schimmel Awaken Yoga School also another apprenticeship 200 hrs with him and Kara Baruzzini. And this year the 300 hrs in Mexico with become a yogi to dive deeper into this free flow vinyasa. I’m so enthusiastic about the style that I went to do a yogatour organised by Kara in Michigan where detroit’s original vinyasa is born under Johnny Kest. The tour was life changing!! Currently moved to Miami to collaborate with my partners David Alvarez & Kara Baruzzini to make the style really a thing worldwide but first create community in Miami. We’ve set up a website: www.selfledrevolution.com and a Instagram page: @selfledrevolution we want to promote the style by mentioning where to find any 7doors style yoga class / course / or event so we can connect the community and let it grow!! Starting in miami, but going worldwide very soon ;-) Come through!
retreat idea
Hey everyone, I’ve been exploring more ways we can create meaningful connection and impact within our alumni community, and I came across a beautiful retreat center in Costa Rica (recently ranked #1 by National Geographic). It sparked an idea: what if we created an alumni-only retreat where we come together to practice and share the Seven Doorways in our own unique styles? We could rotate teaching, offer special workshops, collaborate, create content, and really use the time to expand and support one another. The intention would be to keep this feeling intimate, collaborative, and community-led — more like a shared immersion than a traditional retreat. I’ve already reached out to the center and am waiting to learn more. I’d love to hear your thoughts and whether this is something you’d be interested in being part of. Big love, Jonah
unique mentorship opportunity
Hey fam, We have a unique opportunity coming up. Some of you may have seen our online 200 hour teacher training. We have a great group forming and a few students will be shadowing, mentoring, and contributing to the training in preparation to eventually lead their own. We have done this in the past and several of those students have gone on to successfully launch their own 200 hour trainings within their communities with the support of BECOMEAYOGI. If this interests you and you would like to be part of the online 200 while preparing to eventually lead your own training, this mentorship may be for you. The training runs through April and May on the weekends, and the mentor group will meet once during the week in between sessions. The intention of this mentorship is to support you in eventually leading your own 200 hour training or even hosting your own 20 hour Seven Doorways weekend. If this resonates with you, or if you simply want to be part of the online 200 to deepen your practice and refine your teaching, feel free to reach out. You can WhatsApp me directly at +1 248 892 0953 and we can chat to see if it feels like a good fit. Excited to connect. also PS. I'm working on finalizing a location + dates for our ALUM retreat :)
