Yes solar storms can cause temporary behavioral changes where reactions are due to a dog's sensitivity to changes in light, atmospheric pressure, and the Earth's magnetic fields. A dog may become anxious, with increased barking, howling and panting.
Solar flares could potentially trigger seizures in dogs with epilepsy.
Providing a quiet environment with minimal visual stimulation, as well as keeping the area familiar and comfortable. You can decrease seizure activity.
Avoid punishing your dog for any anxiety-related behaviors.
