Over the past few weeks, I've noticed that if this were a brick-and-mortar location, our halls would ring with the echo of silence. Although engagement is not mandatory, it is desirable because communication with others helps us gain and foster understanding. However, there could be many reasons why we do not become engaged with others. For example: 🔹One might not know how to begin. 🔹One might feel overwhelmed by everything in the community. 🔹One might not be getting exactly what one needs by reading. 🔹One might simply be waiting until they feel comfortable enough to join in. 🔹Or maybe life has simply got in the way.
