108 Affirmations for a Joyful and Purposeful Life
The 108 affirmations that follow are newly written. They draw upon broad themes represented in the accompanying source material—joy, confidence, peace, growth, relationships, meaningful effort, and service—while using fresh language and a distinct spiritual framework. The two opening supplications are preserved as direct quotations exactly as supplied.

Religion: the Impregnable Stronghold
"Chaos and confusion are daily increasing in the world. They will attain such intensity as to render the frame of mankind unable to bear them. Then will men be awakened and become aware that religion is the impregnable stronghold and the manifest light of the world, and its laws, exhortations and teachings the source of life on earth." ('Abdu'l-Baha, From a Tablet translated from the Persian, Peace compilation)

THE VOICE THAT WAS MISSED
Dear Friends:
Over the past few weeks, I've noticed that if this were a brick-and-mortar location, our halls would ring with the echo of silence. Although engagement is not mandatory, it is desirable because communication with others helps us gain and foster understanding. However, there could be many reasons why we do not become engaged with others. For example: 🔹One might not know how to begin. 🔹One might feel overwhelmed by everything in the community. 🔹One might not be getting exactly what one needs by reading. 🔹One might simply be waiting until they feel comfortable enough to join in. 🔹Or maybe life has simply got in the way. My point in all of this is simple: if you are stuck, or need help, or have suggestions on how to make things better and easier, please feel free to leave a comment. You are also welcome to DM me. Those conversations shall stay confidential. The Sunday group call is another good way to communicate with me.
