Hi I’m Maria and I also met Dom through gymnastics. I’ve always been an active person but I had a big set back when I injured my hip and eventually got it replaced. I had to give up running but I couldn’t give up gymnastics lol. Since then I’ve been exploring other options like aerial, yoga, dance, acro yoga, and now climbing.
I’ve been struggling with either moving more or eating less now that I’m older and my metabolism is slowing down. I’d rather still be able to eat a lot and run but my hip disagrees. So my obstacle has been finding cardio activities that aren’t boring/swimming and won’t upset my hip.
