My Own Experience of 1 Week of Job Search in Germany from India

I am a web developer with 5 years of experience in PHP (with frameworks) and React.js. I have recently completed my A1 and A2 levels in German and will start B1 on February 20th. Meanwhile, I have started my job search in Germany.

I applied for 100 jobs within 1 week using job portals in Germany. However, I did not get many positive responses. Some companies replied, saying they prefer candidates who are already in Germany.

I understand that the chances of getting a job might be higher if I apply from within Germany rather than from India. However, I have several questions, such as:

Can I go to Germany and search for a job, or is it very difficult to stay there while looking for a job?

Is anyone willing to share their thoughts or guidance on this? Any advice would be very helpful for me to decide my next steps.
