The feedback formula
Most garage owners only give feedback when they're already annoyed — and by then it comes out as a verdict, not a conversation.
Instead, you should use this three-step formula that takes the awkwardness out of feedback for good: Situation + Behaviour = Impact.
It works just as well for praise as it does for correction, but how can you remember to do this on top of everything else?
I've put together a worksheet so you can fill it in, and it even reminds you to make sure the change in behaviour is possible, using BJ Fogg's behaviour model.
