Hey there FLOW world. Growing steadily i see....
You dont know me, i have never visited a session lead by Advaita. I am still learning comfortably very much, alone. I hope im not too "Stranger Danger" to be posting here, but i wanted to misuse the public postings here to share some of my thoughts lately.
I have been going back through Advaitas now extensive catalogue on youtube and have found more fun and deeper fullfilment from Uajayii Breathing. I used to gloss over this exercise but finally had a perfect series with this technique. I kept at this exercise because Advaita said in his video its one of his favorites. Just like with a song that a friend loves very much, i kept coming back to it to find out "why".
I think i know now.
To more Frivoulous matters:
Currently (about a week now) the Person/Personality/Figure known as Russel Brand is being tried for Sexual misconduct in the UK.
Oftentimes people find their path through the most unusual ways. Russel Brand was the first Media personality that brought me to Kundalini and Awareness School. I was not aware of famous gurus like Baijan, Krischnamurti, Osho, Rumi, Tolle etc.
It was a different world for me until i saw Russel Brand on youtube simply teaching the beginning steps to Yoga (opening chant, alternate nostril Breathing, diaphragmatic techniques etc.)
Something about the person made it able for me to listen for extended sessions, repeadetly. Funny thing about that, most people i share him with tell me they cannot listen to him speak for even 5 mins.
I am forever thankful to him and its most unusual to see your selfappointed early spirit guide being paraded infront of international attention. I guess when you live long enough, you sometimes see your "heroes" fall or get denounced. I just wanted to share that. I later found out that many great teachers and guides are accused of heinous crimes. It almost seems like its "part of the program".
Have you ever had such an experience? Have you ever been inspired and later dissapointed in your teachers or heroes? Did it make your own journey more insightful? What do you think you learned?
Thanks for reading this far, its just ramblings.
Sincerely,
Nathaniel Strong
