Tuned into a very interesting session on Wednesday with Jay Staniforth regarding mindset, relevant to a psychological, cognative perspective.
Jay Staniforth, as a trained Phsycologist grabbed my attention with the following take away areas in the business world:
- Adjust your mind set to remain emotionally resilient through changing or volatile scenarios.
- Understand what stress is telling you, with an ability to react intelligently.
- Fight or flight is not a bad thing in short term periods of stress but not a long term position you want to be in!
I have found myself in fight or flight mode following a severe brain injury in 2023 but as an engineer, I struggled with many unknowns or uncertainties along that journey. Any psychological support with technical understanding I think could help many people's journey to be the best you can in a logical way👍🎯
