Hi everyone, just wanted to share a little of my journey.
I’ve been homeless twice, 1st due to the gang and gun crime in the area were I grew up in Winson Green. I had enough of ducking and diving from people and the police also the gangs, gun and drugs in the area. After a while this lead me to being caught up in street life in order to survive, and this lead me to served time in prison which looking back now was a blessing because it helped me find myself. I’ve seen what it’s like to have nothing, no direction, no safety, no support.
The 2nd time was coming out of a long term relationship and my daughter was just born. I ended up in various hostels in Birmingham and Wolverhampton and this experience was so horrible people openly smoking class A drugs, fighting and drinking and staff did not care would rather be on there phone. This made me help others by giving them support and life skills and at the same time gave me healing. But I made a choice to change, and I’ve been rebuilding ever since. My traumas have lead me to find my purpose and now on a Mission to change Lives by Peer and Life coaching people from disadvantaged backgrounds and give people a place called home.
Today, I’m at the very start of my property journey. I’ve launched New Life New Journey Housing LTD with a mission to help others who are where I once was homeless, just released, or starting over.
We’re starting with Rent-to-Rent HMOs to build cash flow, then moving into lease options and commercial-to-residential conversions so we can scale impact and create real homes for those who need it most.
This isn’t just about bricks it’s about hope, dignity, and second chances.
If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to connect and collaborate.
