Say, Do, Achieve!! (Thomas Blackwell conference notes)
I had the wonderful opportunity to learn from Thomas Blackwell live at his Say Do Achieve Summit the last 2 days. It was absolutely incredible! I wanted to share some of the things that really stuck out to me! 1) your language being congruent with your actions will compound your positive trajectory like nothing else!!! Make sure you’re saying what you mean, and meaning what you say. Help yourself break free of societal trends/chains that may be causing negative verbiage that could be much more positive! 2) it takes 11 muscles to smile and 12 to frown…which ones are you working out? Give your smiles away freely! 3) remove negative, non-committal, and low-vibration words/phrases from my vocabulary. Words like “can’t”, “issues”, “problems”, “trials”, “eventually”, “I’ll try”, “I’ll do my best”, “I think so”, “I guess”, “hate”, “that’s crazy”, “that’s insane”, “maybe”, etc! Instead I will use positive committal words, or not say anything at all! 4) You will find what you are looking for! What are your thoughts on these?
