The best way to learn about birds whether you're a casual observer or an avid birder is to engage through the portal of art. Christopher is a lifelong birder and wildlife artist was educated in field biology at Luther College, studied bird art at Cornell University's Laboratory of Ornithology at Sapsucker Woods in Ithaca, New York, and has sold more than 2000 of his original works as well as limited edition prints and posters. His writing is published in Bird Watcher's Digest (BWD), and his work in citizen science includes breeding bird surveys, Christmas and Spring migration counts, raptor studies, and bird photography along with his art. He's seen more than 500 bird species and his home overlooks a high-quality Illinois wetland where bald eagles, osprey, red-tailed and red-shouldered hawks, herons, egrets, and more than fifteen waterfowl species of ducks and geese visit year-round. He loves helping people learn about birds and wildlife. Join us!
