Here are some videos from our Saturday morning walk on Ozzy's first weekend home after the first week of his three week board and train program. I don't have videos showing him before training, but the improvement is astronomical. We still have a lot of work to do, but key things I want to mention are - he did not react to ANY dogs on Saturday's walk or on Sunday's walk. He also did not bark once on Saturday's walk or on Sunday's walk. I didn't put him in any situations where we walked by a dog on the path, but we walked on the grass a few metres from dogs and no reaction. If the dog was close and I had nowhere to walk, I put him in a down and he was calm in his down and had no reaction to the dog. He didn't do any auto downs when we stopped walking, but when I calmly stepped on his leash, he went down immediately. I had to keep my foot on the leash for him to stay down. He half heartedly responded to a few place commands on park benches, but he didn't stay in place at all. On Sunday's walk he was a hyper 9 month old puppy so walking to heel did not happen at all so I didn't push it. When he pulled, he got a STIM and he stopped pulling at least. I consider the weekend a MASSIVE SUCCESS. So grateful to Arsenal! Looking forward to seeing what the next two weeks bring for our Ozzy Bear.
