I begin with meditation, letting my mind settle and my breath guide me into stillness. Then I spend time talking with God, sharing my gratitude, my worries, my hopes for the week ahead. There's something so comforting about starting the day connected to something greater than myself.
I also take time to chat with my past loved ones—those precious souls who are no longer physically here but remain so present in my heart. I tell them about my week, ask for their guidance, and feel their love surrounding me. It might sound unusual to some, but these conversations fill me with such peace and connection.
The silence itself is medicine. In our noisy, constantly connected world, those moments of pure quiet feel like drinking from a well of peace. No agenda, no productivity goals—just me, the morning light, and the beautiful stillness that holds it all.
This practice sets the tone for my entire day. When I honor this time, I feel more centered, more grateful, and more able to show up fully for whatever the day brings.
