Create this reveal only using the CC Light Sweep Effect. And add a small silhouette behind the text, to make it easier to read. You can find the Better Glow preset in the "Classroom" Tab above, inside "Resources"

This is one of my favorite techniques to reveal elements, specially text by using smoke as a matte. You get a really subtle and elegant reveal with this method You can find the Smoke Pack with all the smoke footage I use for my animations inside "Resources" in the Classroom tab from above 👆 Also here you have the project file :)
