One of the quiet lessons we talk about inside The Awakening is this:
Gratitude isn’t something we practice after everything works out.
It’s something we choose while we’re still becoming.
So often we tell ourselves, “I’ll feel grateful when the results come… when I feel more confident… when I know for sure this is working.”
But gratitude doesn’t wait for certainty. Gratitude creates steadiness.
When we pause long enough to notice what is working—even in small, ordinary ways—we soften our nervous system, we ground ourselves back into the present moment, and we remember that we are not doing this alone.
Gratitude isn’t about forcing positivity.
It’s about acknowledging God’s hand in the process—quietly, faithfully, gently guiding us forward.
Today, if your mind feels busy or your heart feels heavy, try this: Take one slow breath.
Name one thing you’re grateful for right now.
Let it be enough.
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:18
May gratitude anchor you today—not as pressure, but as peace.
You are exactly where you’re meant to be.
