Day 5 – Before & After: “The Windshield”

BEFORE

He just clocked out of work. The parking lot is almost empty. He sits alone in his car with the engine off, staring through the windshield long after everyone else has driven away. His phone lights up, but he ignores it. Everyone thinks he’s doing fine because he keeps showing up, keeps working, and keeps smiling. Inside, he’s wondering if the purpose GOD placed in his heart will ever become reality. He’s tired of carrying a dream no one else can see.

AFTER

The song ends, but he doesn’t start the car right away. Instead of questioning whether GOD has forgotten him, he remembers why he started. He takes a deep breath, turns the key, and drives home believing his purpose is still worth pursuing.
